Hello m'dears

Hello, all. I’m Meadowlark, which is my username pretty much across the internet (though occasionally I’m found as Meadowlark4491). I'll respond to Meadow, ML, Lark, or any variant thereof. I'll also respond to my character name so... /shrugs/ "Hey you" might even get my attention as well.

I’m an almost twenty-year-old Senior at University. I live in Washington State in the United States. That’s the one on the West Coast just across the border from British Columbia, Canada. I’m majoring in English: Literature focus with a minor in Film Studies (the only way to study film at my university).

I find that school eats my soul, but when I’m not in class I’m online, which means any forum I’m on tends to be haunted by yours truly quite a bit. I’ve got a handful of fandoms I participate in/check in on from time to time: Hetalia (No, really, I’m serious ), Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS, Scarlet Pimpernel (Yay for obscure literature), occasionally I’ll even check in on the X-Men fandom which I’ve done nothing with in years. Oh, and Musicals. Mustn’t forget musicals.

What else, what else….Oh, I have a cat (well, two…but the grey one’s evil and is technically my mother’s). He’s a beautiful little (well, not so little now) tuxedo cat by the name of Will Scarlet. Unfortunately, he’s at home with my family. On the other hand my cousins (who I live with) have two cats as well. Neither are willing to be cuddled though so to go from my beautiful snuggly black and white to their fuzzy claw machine of a Siamese-mix is rather a drastic change.

I am a pianist--having taken lessons on and off for 12 years, I had to stop the lessons but still love to sit down and play when I get the chance and can find an in-tune piano. This forum caught my interest on a few levels--not the least of which being my passion for seeing how theater is run. I've worked backstage on several different performances and loved every one.

So, yeah…that’s pretty much me at the moment. I'm excited to be able to be joining you all on this board.

Oh, heavens, don't worry about that. Maturity, yes, but awkward is something that everyone is at some time or another...myself included (usually more in person than when I can edit what I'm saying though).

Same. Cats are, debatably, my favorite animal. Mine seems disinclined to associate with me right now though. I've been gone for school for too long.
