What A Bore...[Open] Empty
PostSubject: What A Bore...[Open]   What A Bore...[Open] EmptyThu Mar 03, 2011 8:28 pm

Ismet sighed and frowned as he sorted through the tickets in the booth, as well as the reciepts that they had made for each customer. It was exhausting going through all of these and sorting them out; not to mention incredibly boring. But it was easy work, something he could do without really thinking. Or, you know, sleeping the night before. Ismet had given in the urge of all teenagers to stay awake all night. Of course, he had stayed up to work on his homework for his classes, but it still left him tired as hell.

That lack of sleep, combined with the mind numbing nature of his task, left him nodding off every five minutes. But he couldn't sleep now because he was working and sleeping while he was working was liable to get him fired. And while he didn't really need a job, he liked having a job because he liked the responsibility he was entrusted with. Not the normal reaction of teenagers when given more responsibility, but he wasn't the primary example of teenagers. Yawning, he leaned back against a wall of the booth and closed his eyes, resting for a moment or two. Just for a little while.

What A Bore...[Open] Empty

It was strange that James would be wandering around the outside of the theatre at this time instead of getting ready to be on stage (or to be more accurate to sit and watch the show that he hadn’t been a part of), but here he was wandering around. Well as it may be, he was enjoying the architecture of the building, if not just admiring how the place was built; or at least it was good that he knew how to get around so that he could hide in a nook or cranny when he was in trouble with those who ran the fine, fine establishment.

He didn’t always get into trouble, but it was better to be safe than to be sorry, he assumed. Besides, what are the chances of a director—or even the person who ran the joint—finding out every little crack in the building? Who would have the spare time to want to look for such a place?

Oh. Right.

Nonetheless, James continued to explore around. He soon noticed the ticket box and he had the bright idea of trying to see if there was anywhere to hide in that cramped box. It may have been one of the most obvious and worst hiding place, but it was worth a try to see if there was any space.

As he got closer, he heard the soft snorings, and froze. Was someone in there? He moved over to peek his head in and saw a kid in there. Well, well, well. What was this now?

Hey kid. D’ya think ya should be doin’ that?” He asked, doing his best to lean awkwardly on the booth and giving the kid cool eyes. If the kid didn’t wake up, then he would just grab something and give him a quick jab or two to 'help' him stay away.

Ismet opened his eyes and looked at...whoever it was, annoyed. He had barely closed his eyes for - he lookd at the clock - five minutes, and he was being bugged. Wasn't that typical. He stared at the person who had bugged him, frowning lightly as he tried to place him. He couldn't remember where he had seen the man before, but he had definitely seen him before. The bandage alone should have told him where, but sadly no.

Giving it up as a lost cause, Ismet raised an eyebrow. "Can I help you?" He asked, doing his best to sound polite. Wouldn't do to chase off potential customers after all.

James grinned, looking at the kid. Well wasn’t that a joy; the boy was finally awake. He turned his face to give the other a better look at him, the smile never left his face. He was still amused that the other had slept on post.

Shaking his head, the brunette stared at Ismet for a little bit longer. “Nothin’ in particular mate. Jus’ wonderin’ why ya’re sleepin’ at a time like this mate.” His eyes were bright as he talked, body language open. “Last I remember, the head ‘ere runs this place pretty strict~” The brunette said, lifting himself up so that he was no longer using the booth for support.

The position wasn’t as comfortable anymore, but it might have a better effect if he was standing upright than the lean and slouch.

Ismet gave him a dull look once he realized it was one of his co-workers, inwardly worrying that he might lose his job but ultimately not really caring. This guy definitely didn't seem like the type to tattle on others for doing things they weren't supposed to, so Ismet decided not to give him the best impression of a good slave that he gave everyone else.

He shrugged, tilting his head slightly. "Why shouldn't I sleep at a time like this? It's really too early for anyone to come around wanting a ticket, and thus there's nothing for me to do but sleep." He shrugged again, stretching. "What are you doing out here bugging me instead of being inside and doing your job?" Ismet wondered, looking up at him when he straightened out.
